WASHINGTON - The health care industry added 21,000 jobs in November, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
There were notable gains in home health care services and hospitals.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the national unemployment rate fell from 10.2 percent in October to 10 percent in November.
Employment fell in construction, manufacturing, and information in November, while temporary help services and health care added jobs, the BLS reported.
The health care industry has added 613,000 jobs since the recession began in Dec. 2007.
